The Conquering Lion of Judah
The Solomonic Dynasty and
The Throne of David in Ethiopia
The Throne of Ethiopia is the oldest in the world and can be traced from ancient KUSH of Genesis 2:13 to Axum, Ethiopia, where the son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, Menelik I, established the Solomonic Dynasty and the Throne of David over 3,000 years ago. The Throne expatriated in 1975 when the theocratic government came to an end, due to a socialist coup.
King Haile Selassie I is the last King and his wife Queen Menen Asfaw the last Queen of the Solomonic Dynasty to sit upon the Throne of David in Ethiopia, in modern times (1930-1975). Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie Haile Selassie, grandson of King Haile Selassie, is the current President of the expatriated Crown Council of Ethiopia; his duties and obligations are duly noted in the 1955 Revised Ethiopian Constitution which was written under the guidance and approval of Prince Ermias grandfather,
King Haile Selassie I.
